Katie Francis, BSc., Behaviour Technician


Katie is a devoted behaviour technician who is enthusiastic about positively impacting the lives of the children, young people and families who she works with. Katie has experience working with children and adolescents with a diagnosis of Autism, in both home settings and mainstream schools.

Katie achieved a first class Psychology with Counselling degree in the University of South Wales in July 2020 and with a strong passion for Applied Behaviour Analysis stemming from her degree. Katie started working on home programmes as a behaviour technician for Blossom ABA Ltd. in September 2020. As a behaviour technician, she implements interventions designed by the programme BCBAs and supervisors. Katie thoroughly enjoys seeing her clients progress and develop. She also takes her clients out into the community to support them with learning functional independence, social and life skills.

Katie has experience working with clients of different profiles and backgrounds and has undergone a great amount of training on how these individuals can be best supported, enabling them to learn more productive ways to express themselves, ensuring their needs and wants are achieved.

Katie thrives in her work for Blossom ABA Ltd., due to her commitment and passion to empower the individuals she works with.

Katie is a very energetic, bubbly, uplifting individual who always aims to put a smile on everybody's face and make sure that everybody feels accepted, respected and valued for who they are.
