Mariana Pacheco, Board Certified Assistant Behaviour Analyst (BCaBA)
I am a bilingual Board Certified Assistant Behaviour Analyst (BCaBA) with experience working with children with a diagnosis of Autism. I speak the English and Portuguese languages and provide behaviour analytical services in both languages.
My passion in life is to work with children and young people and I enjoy seeing how much they can learn through play and motivating activities. I started working with children with autism as a volunteer in 2017. I fell in love with the field of ABA after seeing many children showing improvement in their communication and learning. I have experienced how ABA based interventions have positively impacted in the lives of children and their families.
I started my career in the USA, where I worked in the field of Applied Behaviour Analysis for four years, providing services in clinics and in family homes. Whilst in the USA, I completed the Applied Behaviour Analysis course sequence via the Florida Tech Institute (FIT) and became certified as a BCaBA in May 2020. I relocated to South West England and started working at home and school based ABA programmes with Blossom ABA Ltd. in September 2021.
