Our Team

Veronica Dunning, Director, Senior BCBA & QBA

Director & Senior Board Certified Behaviour Analyst

Description

I am a bilingual Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) and autism mum. I obtained a bachelors degree in Arts and started my career as a Teacher of English as a Foreign Language in 1995. From initial experience working with my son and seeing how effective ABA has been in my son's life, I started supporting families in setting up their own ABA programmes in 2012. I obtained my Masters degree in Behaviour Analysis and Therapy through the University of South Wales in 2016.

I have extensive experience in collaborating as part of a multidisciplinary team and in coaching and supporting young people and families outside time with the behaviour analytical team. This helped young people to achieve meaningful outcomes, which has ultimately been beneficial to the whole family.

My experience in setting up ABA programmes and building evidence of progress has been key in supporting Blossom ABA Limited Families in obtaining funding for ABA. This support includes contributing towards the drafting of Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCP-England) and Statement of Special Needs (Wales).

I am a mindfulness and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) practitioner. I am committed to providing excellent quality services to both staff and clients, and the team receives regular human resources and Organisational Behaviour Management (OBM) input from highly specialist practitioners. I have also been actively involved with disseminating the science of behaviour analysis and I have experience managing staff and teams and supervising teams locally and internationally.
